Our Union Dues have not increased at this time.
I really dont under stand how Obama can change what you want for deductions coming out of your pay check....I signed up w-4 to reflect my with holdings so I would break even on my taxes, now I will owe taxes next year unless I change my deductions.. Did this go thru congress? There was very little discussion about it..
My husband was a Viet Vet who returned home and then had a union job for 40 yrs... he was an honest man doing an honest job. How can you question the soldiers who came home and found a job to survive in the country they had just defended??
Not a union member but ours went up as well. Zero had his boys reduce the withholding but without changing the tax tables. You will have a rude awakening next April 15 unless you are normally over-withheld. Such B.S. - Zero wants you to go spend money you don’t really have... We increased our withholding enough so we won’t pay penalties. Overpaying withholding is just stupid - you are giving the gov’t an interest free loan.
Exactly!
We have set ours at NO Dependants not even our selves.
I do have to say though, for all that is fair... The First President Bush did the same thing.
I didn’t like it then and I don’t like it now!
I say we all claim 20 dependents and starve the Government of revenue until April 2010. Just pay the penalty next year and screw them all. In the mean time, you keep your own money until the very last minute before they steal it away from you.
Payroll Withholding is like being robbed every week instead of once a year.
We have become a Nation of Indentured Servants with the Government using Payroll Deductions and an oppressive Tax System to rule the Sheeple.
I ran mine up to 10, I'll figure it out next year, maybe.
That’s a great idea...I say do it...we’re going to go bankrupts anyway, let’s just speed it up and see what happens.
>> My husband was a Viet Vet &etc
Don’t take me too seriously.
>> Gonna bail with my golden parachute in a couple of years.
In that case... do you have any spare bedrooms? By the way, I eat pretty much anything (but I eat a LOT)...
Steve, I run the HR dept for our family business. Our health care costs increased 20% for the coming year—and that was with no major incidents. I guarantee they are passing on a small portion of the total costs for the health insurance.
I think every should get paid their Gross Salary in Cash, then walk down a hallway with little windows staffed by Government Workers. Stop at the SS window - give them 12%, stop at the Medicare Window - give them 3%, stop at the State Tax Window - give them 5 percent, stop at the Federal Tax Window - give them 20%.
I am a 1099 worker myself. I refuse to send in my Quarterly Taxes, opting to pay the Penalty. I don't make nearly the money I made as a Corporate VP, but for me it is principle, not the money. I refuse to remain one of the Sheeple.
Sorry buddy, I have a brother-in-law that has that spot taken.
The first time I paid a penalty for underwithholding was the first I realized that our taxes are actually due every payday and that we simply reconcile every April.
