You've heard the old story about the Maine farmer, I suppose.

Lived right on the New Hampshire border, and in the year 1900, the government did a survey that found the state line was incorrectly marked and his house was actually in New Hampshire.

They knocked on his door and told him that he was now living in New Hampshire and he responded:
"Thank goodness! I don't think I could have taken another Maine winter!".

And then there was the Texas Rancher and the Maine Farmer.

The Rancher declared: “mah ranch is sooo big, I can get in mah truck at dawn, and drive and not reach the other side by sundown”

Tha Mainah replied: “heyup, had a truck like that once..”
