Did you hear the interview in which she made this statement? The tone of voice was unmistakably contempuous and NOT the least bit apologetic in any way. “An apology is owed” — but I ain’t gonna give one!
Oh, and this woman must have one of THE. MOST. ANNOYING. voices on the planet. So obnoxious. She hammers everything out in ALL CAPS, evidently because she thinks that if she spouts BS as strongly and authoritatively as possible, then we won’t recognize that it’s BS. It’s the way stupid people try to sound intelligent and important. Extremely grating.
