Also, notice that the police in the pictures look fairly relaxed considering they were dealing with radical right-wing extremists.

The police at our protest were very friendly. They were waving and chatting with passersby. I think some of them were right-wing extremists as well.

He is not alone. Some of the greatest activists and most ardent supporters of the anti-left, now anti-Obama, movement in the US are immigrants who have experienced communism up close and personal in their native countries. They have a better understanding of current events in the US than most native-born Americans.
