It may be a ‘politically correct’ move but personally, I’m sick of this “ettiquette” crap.

I’ve always had a combative attitude towards “politics” but I’m getting old and bitchy [well, bitchier, to be honest...LOL] and “No More Mr Nice Guy” is my new motto.

I agree with you. I am so tired of the “bend over and grab your ankles” crowd. When they take that position they expose the very fact that they have no backbone to stand up straight for something that matters.
