What about him using Jesus’ parable about the wise man who built his house on the rock in his speech?

Maybe he meant he wanted to build "a big house full of crack rocks" or "a crack house full of rocks"

“What about him using Jesus’ parable about the wise man who built his house on the rock in his speech?”

The Devil’s first trick in the Garden was to slightly misquote and mislead using God’s words.

The Devil repeated this trick (at least once, maybe all three times, I’d have to go crack Matthew) with the Temptation of Christ after Christ’s time in the wilderness.

It doesn’t surprise me that a liberal (or a potential anti-Christ) would abuse God’s words to sell a liberal program. They’ve been mis-using “He who is without sin cast the first stone” as an excuse for license for sin forever.

Indeed, on the topic on potential anti-Christ, the first thing that came to mind with the Obamanation’s misuse of the “build your house on the rock” speech was Obama was telling people to build their house on him/secular government, instead of Christ.
