This is silly and alarmist. This camera saw what anyone else outside could already see. The camera isn’t invading or violating anyone’s privacy more than any person who would be looking at the same things with his/her own eyes.
Ok... I clearly need more coffee. I mistakenly thought this was one of those “it is the camera’s fault” articles.
I think you might have misunderstood what was going on. The video display inside the man’s pickup was picking up OTHER camera outputs. Those camera’s were overriding the wireless connection to his own license-plate mounted camera as he drove through town going about his business.
Keep up that thinking.
