Too late. My niece just graduated basic. I am pretty sure she captured and tortured the general in charge. She looks like a pleasant young woman, but if she wants to hurt you she can do it with a candy bar and the wrapper from a straw. She has no idea who McGiver is, but she will hurt him if he gets in her way.
Yesterday one of the gents at our rally said he was a three time loser according to our DHS: A Vet; An NRA member; and against government deficit spending. I added to his rant that made two of us. Frankly that is a very sad commentary on where we have gotten.
From my perspective, the entire groups in yesterday's protest were almost entirely white middle Americans. I guess that made us all racists too.

Let me qualify that for you.
The Marxist thugs sitting in their bunkers in DC, surrounded by an army and playing Maoist revolutionary are not afraid. The leaders of thug dictatorships are more than willing to send out others to fight and die, but you’ll never see them leading the charge on the battlefield. They’re punks and cowards.
Most on the front line are just like you and me. They’re trying to support a family and get home alive at night. They are very afraid. They are confused and angry that Americans vote these thugs into office. They don’t understand it and look forward to returement so they can escape the liberal hellholes. The Marxist overlords in liberal cities treat these guys like crap. Sure, there’s some jackboot thugs and Rambo wannabes in the ranks. The others know who they are and they’ll be marginalized when TSHTF.
Want to do something for the country and your children’s future? Next time you see a cop, walk up and say: “Thanks for doing a good job in a tough situation.” Or bake a plate of cookies and drop them off at your local police station.
Simple acts like these wil do more to win these people over to our side than anything you can imagine. You have no idea how much they appreciate citizens walking up to them and saying a kind word.
What she fails to realize is how much she has just alienated both veterans of all stripes (and other groups), but also she has lost credibility with the rank-and-file average joe cop.
Here’s what it may be about the vets that frightens the Obamaniacs:
Unlike non-vets, members of the military stood before God and swore an oath to defend the Constitution. To my knowledge, that oath has no expiration date (at least, the one I took doesn’t). And, if the reference to God hasn’t already been expunged, ACORN and the ACLU are waiting for their chance to do so. with no objections from Obama.
That makes those vets who took that oath seriously a threat to the current crew in Washington — whom we MUST THROW OUT LIKE THE GARBAGE THEY ARE — who seem hell-bent on TRASHING our key foundational document.
I saw this coming a long time ago, as soon as that jerkoff Rahm Emanuel was named chief-of-staff.

I know which of the groups is a greater threat to decent Americans ... but apparently Obama has reached a different conclusion on which is a greater threat to his goal of becoming president-for-life (Community-Organizer-in-Chief-for-Life?) or of changing America from the greatest source of freedom in the world into another failed socialist welfare state.
