Most had never been to a protest. That's one of the most telling comments I've read about the tea parties yet. Imagine the attendance if those of us who had to work and couldn't attend could have been there. And no, I've never been to a protest.

Imagine the attendance if those of us who had to work and couldn't attend could have been there. I had to work, but wanted to attend one of the parties in Salt Lake City. I know of three other people who wanted to go but couldn't, but there were at least two people who did, in spite of heavy rain and snow.

I’ve been to a few.
81/2 years ago I took my son and wife to the West Palm Beach elections office during the hanging chad b.s.
About 5000 showed then.
Also in 1973 I lived in D.C. and went to many protesting Nixon
