Let us not forget the mental health of the practicing homosexuals. They have significantly higher rates of drug abuse, alcohalism, and suicide than comparative heterosexuals.
Having worked in the arts, I have known a lot of gay people. When one friend of mine from school, who was an avid consumer of gay bathhouses, pick-up sex and flaming gay houseparties, learned that he had AIDS, he said, "They have poisoned me." It was someone else's fault, apparently.
He, and all his enormous talent as a craftsman, were dead at 45; and so were most of his friends. RIP.
