That is part of it, yes.

Part envy that we can gather peacefully and tell off the Government and part awe/respect. That is why some Chinese news reporting agencies [with some more independent thinkers and writers trying to push the envelope] in China are intrigued if not thrilled by the specter of what happened today over there stateside.

Japanese news sources will be much more open about it. I am sure this will start to break tonight over here.

Make no mistake, they are not dumb nor are they out of touch. Much of the media is your enemy. They know exactly what is going on and they support totalitarian rule over freedom. They will not be changed, they must be overcome.

This is true. They are largely part and parcel of what one popular radio host would call "The Enemy Within".

The fact that these anti-pork/anti-tax/anti-Socialism rallies and protests were reported for FOREIGN NEWS OUTLETS for what they truly were, and yet domestic news outlets like CNN could not report them without spin nor ridicule or "spiked" them altogether, shows them in the eyes of the world to be beholden to certain interests and not independent journalists. We can shame them worldwide by holding up foreign reporting as opposed to their agenda-laden "coverage".
