The detailed report compiled by the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) in Washington last month, complete with graphs and diagrams, has been reprinted in thousands of copies in Tehran.
It is compulsory reading for its intelligence and Revolutionary Guards personnel because the Study on a Possible Israeli Strike on Iran's Nuclear Development Facilities concludes that the Jewish state has all the resources necessary for a successful strike.
When asked recently, Adm. Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint US Chiefs of Staff, agreed with this estimate. This week, president Shimon Peres and prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu both said that if diplomcy failed to halt Iran's nuclear activities, Israel would be left with no option other than the military one.

“Missile Forces Could Wipe Out Iran's Nuclear Sites”. I have heard and read a lot about Israel’s fighter-bombers but I have no idea about Israel’s missile force. Any thought on the type and capabilities of Israeli missiles? Solid fuel vs liquid fuel, conventional vs nuclear, range and payload?

From the article:
Tehran responded with a complaint to the UN Security Council demanding that Israel be condemned for “its threats against a sovereign state.”
Pot, meet kettle.

When I was in the USAF, it was widely thought that Israel had the best AF in the ME. I have no idea if that is still the case, but I would be willing to bet it does.
Anyone know for sure?

Hell, the Israeli AF could turn all of Iran and the surrounding area into a hot, smouldering, radioactive wasteland in moments.
This prospect, I believe, is the one thing the mullahs fear.

probably the best in the world in terms of pilot skill/shootdowns
In the US the best and brightest become bankers/doctors/lawyers
In Israel the best and brightest become airforce pilots

Thanks for the information.
I am wondering if their equipment is equal or better than other ME countries. I would assume that only Egypt could come close.
I wish Israel the best always, and I sure hope they are prepared.

Is Debka credible enough for Breaking News these days?No less credible than the New York Times or Washington Post. ;-)
To: Fennie
Israel can damage Iran, and put it a year to three behind schedule, but Israel cannot FINISH OFF Iran as a nuclear threat, unless it uses at least fission bombs.
