Obama said today, for the first time that I know of, that he has plans to simplify the tax code. Translation: He’s worried that Americans are going to rise up and demand an end to the federal income tax, in favor of the Fair Tax. Congress is worried too. They can see the handwriting on the wall. People are disgusted.
