No, not a Mormon, never been a Mormon, have no relatives or close friends who are Mormon, never been to Utah. Mitt would be light years better than Sarah, of course, because he’s an experienced executive who has demonstrated substantial success in both the public and private sectors. But, excepting Edwards and Kerry who are amoral buffoons, pretty much all the early Republican and Democratic contenders for the Presidential nomination have a lot more to recommend them for the job than Sarah Palin. Even Hillary, who I absolutely abhor, but at least she knows how to get things done, and when push comes to shove and al Qaeda is fixing to lob smallpox bombs at us or North Korea is fixing to lob nukes at us, she’d prioritize saving her own and her rich pals’ skins and head off the problem. Sarah “I can see Russia from Alaska” Palin would just panic and hope some of the Senators could figure out what to do.

Somehow I doubt this.

Your intimate knowledge of the inner workings of the Mormon church and using such words as Apostles and Prophets when posting information about said church would lead me to believe that you are lying.

See how easy it is to besmirch someone's reputation with little or no information?

Much like you do continually in your posts with little or no information about Sarah.

Furthermore, anyone who thinks that the EXTREMELY WEAK field of presidential candidates in the last election had more to offer than Sarah is just stupid.

Stop idolizing that incompetent woman. Could it be that the people who don’t like Palin are the same people who would actually like to see someone with the skills to get the job done. You are a Palin drone. I am so sick and tired of being called a Mittbot. Palin drones will destroy what is left of the Republican Party. Don’t listen to Rush, he needs to get his own life in order, right now the guy has no personal life at all, he has no wife, no children. The guy knows jack about life, he is not a good judge of character, just another desperate middle aged man. Who doesn’t think with his brain. Sure, he has the right conservative political views. But so what, so do I. His personal judgment sucks.

Not everyone who is knowledgeable about a certain organization is a member of that organization. I’ve only been inside an LDS chapel twice in my life — once about 30 years ago as a teenager when I visited with another non-Mormon teenager who was interested in the church (the hard-sell was pretty overwhelming and neither of us ever went back), and the other time about 4 years ago when a Mormon college student who was renting a room from me was performing in a historical play put on by her stake (very well-done and enjoyable). I’ve had a longstanding interest in the past and present LDS Church (and also in the larger category of what anthropologists call “intentional communities”, and also in the larger topic of 19th century American “pioneers”). Have no interest in joining, though, especially since they’d excommunicate me in short order for prohibited family arrangements and failure to obey to leaders.

Sarah Palin’s wild tales about her “engaged” daughter and wonderful-young-man-future-son-in-law have turned out to be pretty self-besmirching.
