ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's father is taking the 19-year-old father of her grandson to task for not helping to pay for the baby's care.
In the issue of Us Weekly magazine to be released Friday, Chuck Heath says Levi Johnston is capitalizing on national interviews but not spending money on Tripp, the nearly 4-month-old son of Johnston and Bristol Palin, the governor's 18-year-old daughter.

I’m starting to feel a little foolish for all the Levi Johnston for President stickers I printed.
HBO already announced that there's going to be a movie made about the 2008 campaign written from the perspective of the individual political camps, with an emphasis given to Palin's camp.
Her personal travails, newsworthy or not, can't be far behind.

He had it all, except for the initiative to better his station in life and the drive to care and provide for his infant son. Other than that, he had it all.

I’d like this story better if, instead of taking him to task, they took him to court as a dead-beat-Dad.
Don’t feel bad. Sarah ought to be feeling a bit foolish by now for claiming that Levi and Bristol had been planning to marry even before the pregnancy, and for parading Levi across the stage at the Republican convention as if he was a political bonus point.
If they make him pay, then they’ll be forced to let him see the tot regularly. Bristol (wisely) doesn’t seem to want him anywhere near her or baby Tripp.
People can tell from my previous posts, I don't know if Sarah Palin is the best choice for the GOP presidential candidacy, right now. But, the Palin family did nothing but extend a faithful hand and loving embrace to this man, and he repaid them by selling his soul to the liberal devil.
Instead of working or furthering his education to better provide for his very young child, he sought out fame and notoriety by going on a myriad of New York entertainment and "news" shows to browbeat the Palin family. He's a louse, a scoundrel and a deadbeat in my humble opinion. Bristol should take his A$$ to court and get her pound of flesh through child support. Maybe then, he'll grow up and recognize the weight of his responsibilities.

Actually, from what I've read about Levi's situation, he didn't have it all - he didn't have a father, and so he was never taught the difference between right and wrong, much less how to behave as a man.
Freeper divorced Dads - this is what happens when you abandon your families and you fail to raise your own children - they grow up to be good-for-nothing [less than] worthless trash like Levi Johnston.
