I don't think anyone here so far has read the whole story. If they did they would learn that she is in a battle with conservationists and environmentalist who are voicing disagreement about Palin wanting to open up more natural gas drilling sites

Very true. Oil is Palin's main strength...and therefore the main threat to libs.

The MSM is waiting to pounce on ANYTHING to split her from conservatives on this issue. I see a lot of stuff ascribed to her in the article, but little in the area of direct quotes.

"Simply waiting for low-carbon-emitting renewable capacity to be large enough will mean that it will be too late to meet the mitigation goals for reducing (carbon dioxide) that will be required under most credible climate change models," she warned.

I am a strong Palin supporter but I can also read. And the above statement tells me that Palin now believes that carbon dioxide producing activites need to be reduced because they are altering our climate. How is that belief any different from what Al Gore believes?

You hit the nail on the head. I have read her complete statement on the Gov of Alaska’s website and she is calling Salazar’s bluff in relation to his statement at his confirmation hearing. She is a lot smarter than even some of her supporters give her credit for and this little move she pulled on Salazar had me grinning from ear to ear.
