This has nothing to do with whether I like Sarah Palin or not. Her statements were taken out of context to create the impression that she believes in man made global warming. In essence her statements as a whole are saying “Hey ,you guys say this about global warming and if you believe it than here is a solution at least to part of YOUR problem.” The problem with the whole issue of global warming is that the planet did go through a short warming period that had some observable effects. This natural warming was then hijacked as part of a larger agenda. Now if someone makes any statement concerning this warming period that ended in 2000 they are global warming fanatics. All Gov Palin did was refer to the effects of this warming period on her state and never said anything about those effects being due to man made global warming. Your statement”I do understand that particular battle but what she said, if quoted correctly... This statement tells me that you did not even bother to go and read her prepared remarks before you responded to my previous post. What it also tells me is that you made up your mind by reading something put out by the media who we can probably agree has a less than favorable opinion of Gov Palin.

Where SHE defines "you guys" as the "most credible climate-change models..."

Yup. People are refusing to see this. It's like they WANT to believe the MSM every time they pull this garbage.

Conservatives claim to hate the media, then fall for every trick. So naive.

I didn't get that and don't think anyone that can read would get that but they might get that she actually buys the global warming premise - ie that it exists. That's all I'm saying, and if you read what I've said, that's _all_ I'm saying.

And I don't agree with your assessment that there was a 'global warming' unless you only mean it in the sense that it is normally warmer during the day than at night. The form of data collection has been cooked as well as the computer models. There is no actual evidence of it and even using their data the planet has been 'cooling' since 1998. But even that is bogus because of their data collection. It is a non-issue and anyone that even suggests that it is an issue or esp. that anyone needs to do anything whatsoever about it is not using their mind.

See my more recent post where I quote exactly what the AP reported as in the article, but from the gov's PAC's pdf. IOW, while the AP didn't have the full text they did point out that the Gov. did acknowledge global warming's existence - exactly what I commented about.
