Don't worry folks, there's nothing to fear. Nobody ever gets across the Mexican border illegally.

Cruz said the confiscated .50-caliber, anti-aircraft machine gun can fire 800 rounds per minute and is capable of penetrating armor from more than 5,000 feet (1,500 meters). Police on a routine patrol Monday found the gun fitted atop an SUV at a house in northern Sonora state.

This weapon was no doubt bought thru the gunshow loophole.

I believe our ‘officialdom’ is lying about the origin of these weapons . I will bet that almost all they are finding are being sold out of Mex Army stocks . Or out of other C.A. forces stocks . It is a conspiracy to try and say that the great majority are coming from America . More likely PRC
and Venezuela etc.

It was so inconspicuous, the patrolmen almost missed it.

OK. Since Mrs. Clinton says these weapons came from the US, where can I buy one of those??

I would absolutely love to introduce V.P. Dick Cheney to a more efficient way go on a duck hunting spree. Right?

And hand grenades. Where can I buy those?? I would also like to impress V.P. Dick Cheney about new ways of going on a fishing spree. Right?

Mexicans seem to be better outdoorsmen than us. They should be on the cover of Field & Stream.

A 1919???? What in the world are these media flakes smoking?

For the uneducated...

The Browning 1919 is a .30 caliber belt fed machine gun. It fires the .30-06 or converted to fire .308 rifle round. The sample in the picture is interesting because it is sitting in the pintle clearly showing the large mounting hole in the pintle... this means it’s a gun that was sent from the USA to Israel.

The US uses a 7/16 inch mounting bolt while the Iraelis modified them to 5/8 inch. This gun did not come from the US if that is what these idiots are claiming.

The gun is capable of shots out to about 1200 yards accurately. It is NOT an anti-aircraft weapon and the M2 tripod is for infantry engagement of ground targets.

Also, I like how the gun is loaded. Frakking idiots.

Mike

Once again our news media shows how stupid they are when it comes to firearms. The so called anti-aircraft weapon is a M1919, .30 Caliber, air cooled machine gun. It is not intended for, not readily capable of shooting at airplanes. It was used in WWII and Korea and up until about 1960 in the US armed forces.

I do believe this whole arrest was a setup to try and bolster their, "95 percent of weapons in Mexico come from the US!". If this one came from the US it came out of an old National Guard Armory somewhere because it wasn't sold in a Gun store or Gun show!

What dumbbos. If there is a picture with this article you should look at the gal that was arrested, she is definitely not guilty!

Well..., she was just exercising her Second Amendment rights south of the border — and if they *need* that *anywhere* — it’s certainly “south of the border”.... LOL...

Unless they failed to show it, the only “AA capable” weapon I saw in that cache was a M-1919 Browning .30 cal. machine gun.
I wonder where the heck they got it? Probably from a military - its still in use in some armed forces.
