If not a Christian nation, then where do those values and ideals come from?

I guess Obama would say from HUMAN Philosophy derived from the ideas of the period of the enlightenment ( e.g. John Locke, et al. ).

Well, why didn’t Obama say where those values and ideals came from?

One can’t say tha “Locke, et al” were atheists.

It seems that Mr. Obama’s ideals are more in line with the “values and ideals” of “Mr. Engels, et al”.
