I agree.....but our great & powerful U.S. Navy or our entire military for that matter is not the problem. Unfortunately we have bureaucratic dunces in control of our military, both at the Pentagon, but especially the head usurper commie pig-in-chief, 0booooombi, who is scared $h_tless over unleashing our military to eradicate the problem of piracy in the Indian Ocean against his fellow muzzies. What buffoons & idiots!!!
I have read numerous articles today from weak kneed, whiny, hand wringing liberals (including the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff), literally crying over how hard it is to effectively fight against this, especially with the "poor conditions in Somalia, being the cause of this". WTH??? Put a few basic weapons on the ships, tell them to call in the military when chased after by some dilapidated fishing boat that is firing at them, and blow that dilapidated boat to kingdom come. I would bet that afer a couple of dozen pirate's boats being wiped out in this fashion, that the vast majority of piracy problems would be solved.
