After UMMing and AHHing his way thru a series of devastating questions from Roger, Smith ends his awkward PR gyrations by saying the document will stand!—will not be withdrawn.
After admitting the document is ill-conceived, badly-written and not seen or authorized by the Homeland Secretary, Smith stands full square behind this attack on America’s conservatives.
This dangerous Obama-based screed is now in the hands of police departments and public safety departments across all of the American landscape.
It took them a year to write a nine-page report?

Yeah. Sure. The Obama Administration is just SOOOOH eager to perpetuate the glories of the Bush Administration that they decided to implement everything in this "report" without even reading it.

I wrote this sort of report for my former employer. Though I’m not in the habit of lying, I could have written this piece of detritus in about two days. Long on speculation and a dearth of facts.
It’s certainly possible that the report began under Bush. He did little or nothing to control any of his agencies. DHS is mostly made up of political hacks or people who were already in the government in one agency or another, and many of those are liberal.
There were plenty of liberal leakers and bad eggs in the FBI and the CIA under Bush. And the EPA started coming out with all sorts of liberal nonsense last fall, when it was clear that Bush was a lame duck and the Republicans were likely to lose the election.
Maybe if this report had been released while Bush was still in office, his top guys would have deep sixed it. Napolitano, of course, would have been overjoyed by it. And I don’t believe she didn’t know what was in the works.
