“Lying through my teeth”?
Good luck producing an example of that. So far all you’ve done is throw fits and make accusations, a skill which any irresponsible dimwit can master.
What’s midly amusing is that you have managed to convince yourself that I ‘deliberately and deceitfully’ set a trap for you. In fact I paid you absolutely no attention until you posted to me at #49, where you helpfully informed me that I was dumb, oblivious, and blessed with an overactive imagination. I guess that was before you decided to pray for me. ahem.
Apparently the resulting exchange of posts didn’t play out quite the way you imagined it would. Maybe you don’t like being made a fool, maybe you don’t like being mocked. I don’t know. I do know you never bothered to comment on that excellent speech of Dubya’s that I posted in its entirety. You really should tell us how that exemplified the essence of Compassionate Conservatism; or liberal do-gooder spending, which is what it looks like.
But I digress. I’m mystified at what constitutes the “lying through (my) teeth” part. I’d like to know, so that I can hone that skill better, as I can see that it comes in handy. It has you frothing to such a degree you can’t even point out what these most excellent lies are. I wait, eager to learn; I just hope they really exist, and aren’t the ravings of an angry nutjob simply trying to insult me.
But for the reader who doesn't know, I'll mention a few of many - "dumber than a bunch of rocks," part of Howlin's "coven" on broomsticks, my "many enemies," my husband is "not too bright," and my all time favorite, "worship" of President Bush - that's such an original lie! I just love that one. :) Just a few of them...
Your comments were dumb, your insults were dumb, and I was really, really dumb to respond to you. If I had remembered what a punk you were, I would have never responded to your first comment.

I apologize for letting you get me mad (and bring back to my mind such ugly days here), and for saying things I should never have said to you.
I apologize for taking up other people's time to carry on this dopey fight (my side has been dopey too). I also apologize for hurtful and nasty things that I have said in retaliation for your insults (even if they were lies-which they were). I should have behaved like an adult, and I didn't. I should have ignored your initial comment about President Bush, which I didn't. None of this was worth anything in the scheme of things.
I don't spend very much time here (far better things to do in my life), and I have no intention of spending much time here in the future, so wasting it like this in a spitting contest with someone who doesn't know a thing about me, nor who I am (and vice versa), has really left a bad taste in my mouth.
For my part, this has ended. No more wasted time. No more insults. No more defense against someone whose only goal was to ridicule.
Life is too good and time too precious to waste. We need to fight this vile, lying, socialist in the White House, and we need to fight hard. If we fight each other, (even based on imaginary flaws, Pelham), then we diminish the cause of conservatism.
It is not my intent to do that, even if it means staying away.
