GETTYSBURG, Pa. -- Police documents revealed new details about the death of a Gettysburg College student.
More information regarding the circumstances of Emily Silverstein's killing are revealed in court documents released Monday.
Court records show the 19-year-old sophomore was found in the bathtub partially covered by a shower curtain inside ex-boyfriend Kevin Schaeffer's home.
Just before 7 a.m. on April 9, another woman in the house, Kelsey Simpson, called 911 and told dispatchers she needed an ambulance and police officers.
Minutes after authorities arrived, records state that Schaeffer emerged from his second floor bedroom and told police how he killed his ex-girlfriend.
Schaeffer said Silverstein came over to the house that morning. He said they got into a physical fight; he ended up on top of her and strangled her.
Court documents show Schaeffer took a steak knife from his desk and stabbed her in the neck. He then sat with Silverstein's dead body for nearly 15 minutes.
Concerned about the blood coming from her neck, he took her black pants off, and wrapped them around her neck.
Schaeffer told police he put a shower curtain in the bathtub and placed Silversteins body in there.
He was planning to join the Peace Corps

All I can say is that two left-wing nutcases are out of business. If their parents hadn’t been such enablers, they’d probably still have these kids around.
(sorry if I sound cold, but I’m tired of having to put up idealistic youths that are dead-set on destroying this country...while real adults giggle and think they’re going through a “cute” stage - in other words many, if not most, never leave that stage and we end up with our judges, schools, and government)
Am I wrong if my first thought is....
“Two more mental invertebrates gone from society...I’m cool with that!”
???
Yes.
With good behavior he’ll be out in 7 years.
