Other rock attacks were reported elsewhere, as well, including one perpetrated by Jewish youths targeting Palestinian Authority vehicles. Local Arabs had expected and prepared an ambush for the Jewish worshipers.
On Monday morning, the fourth of five intermediate days of the Passover holiday, an Arab mob threw large rocks and other items at a vehicle caravan of Jews seeking to pray overlooking the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

Nothing new here... The blowing of the Shofar on the High Holy Days in Jerusalem was a capital offense when the muslims and arabs controlled Jerusalem: And Jews were not allowed to pray at the Western Wall.
