Remember the movie “Red Dawn”. When they invaded, the enemy quickly went to the gun shops and secured the names of all that had their guns registered. Then they confiscated them.

Sounds the same here.

They went after the ATF forms 4473, which is the record of sale.
As required to be kept by the dealer, they are a de-facto registration.
And, if the dealer goes out of business, the ATF gets their hands on them permanantly.

A classic, should be playing 7x24 during the Obamachev admin.

Quite frankly, the state has all the info it needs to confiscate guns of licensed owners. The hard part is coming and getting them. ATF will have to go door to door, making Falujah look like a day at the beach.
