“”At a gun show, I dont think you have to give your information.””””
That is incorrect. You might find the occasional private seller, but the guys at the tables are almost always FFL dealers so you have to fill out all the paperwork right there.
The “gun show loophole” is an urban myth perpetuated by slimy politicians to an ignorant public.

I stand corrected. I am one of those ignorant public because I have never been to a gun show...I purchase mine from the stores.

Exactly.
Closing the mythical “loophole” won’t cut down on unregistered guns, it will create a greater demand for the black market of unregistered guns.
This is all about whittling away at the Second Amendment, putting up the appearance of so much bureaucratic red tape (there’s already enough) that people just assume it’s too much of a hassle.

I just went to one of the largest gun shows in America. Wanemacher Gun Show in Oklhoma. While it is true that new guns must be registered, there were plenty of private sales that took place. I purchased a nice .380 handgun without having to go thru the paperwork.
Pelosi, etal, want to regulate this treade giving them a full data base of "all" gun owners. I believe this is the first step towards confiscation.
I refuse to let the government trample my 2nd Amendment rights and will remain active in the NRA's efforts. It was the "framers" intent for its citizens to be armed against an out of control government.

And even our local gun club requires private parties to do the screening when purchasing at their annual gun show. I was really surprised by that! I guess they want to show how ‘responsible’ they are.
