Yeah but he left the party. I’ve thought about that and I wonder if we didn’t have so many third party votes going off in different directions, we would really be stuck with Obamass right now? Keyes should help rebuild the party, not leave it. I’m a Reagan fan so to me all this straying from the party instead of doing something to get it back on track is really the biggest waste of time.

I even like Ron Paul, but the same holds for him, too. Why don’t these people iron out their differences and come together? They’re all conservatives anyway. I don’t get it.

So have most Reaganites I know. The Republican party does not stand for Reagan, or for Conservatism. Where it is leading, we will *not* go.

To my Knowledge, Alan Keyes did not leave the Republican Party. He ran in the last Presedential primary as a Republican.

You may be thinking of Bob Barr. Barr left the party and ran for one of the 3rd parties.
