So about the Homeland Security Document created last week talking about "Rightwing Extremists" and their alleged threat...
Why in the hell would they even use the term Rightwing? Why are they introducing a political slant into this equation? Extremist groups are extremist groups, period. Is there a document that analyzes the threat from leftwing extremists?
Here is the definition on the HSA bulletin of what Rightwing Extremism is:
"Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration."
What the hell does rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority mean? So basically if we adhere to the Constitution and the 10th amendment, we're rightwing extremists??
The document is on Roger Hedgecock’s site:
D.H.S. will have to confirm or deny that it is authentic.
Except the current one is several orders of magnitude worse.
Yah its going to be a long hot summer

Quotes from the article:
“Both are outraged by a recently leaked report by the Missouri Information Analysis Center - an office that compiles and distributes homeland security information - that describes the characteristics of potential militia members.”
“Republicans say the Feb. 20 report by Missouri’s law enforcement fusion center amounts to an attack on conservative ideologies and the politicians who espouse them.”
“About 70 intelligence fusion centers exist around the nation, including ones in Jefferson City, Kansas City and St. Louis.”
This is the only result in my google search that made sense. Maybe I should post it. ~sigh
