Thank God that this happened early in Zero’s administration before he had a chance to Carterize the Military!

Obambi wants to take all the credit now. But let's not flame Obama for eventually doing the right thing. If he gets a burst of high polls out of this, the Democrats need to know that it's for doing what rank-and-file Republicans wanted to have done.

This will be a good lesson for us," Habeb told the AP ...
They, the bad guys, will evolve. They, the bad guys, should have been destroyed with no word of how ever reaching beyond that patch of ocean.

Haaar - 'Misplaced Texan' - I'm one too... born in El Paso, and trapped in the Commie mex-state of CA.
Well, whatever the relative dangers were, this Navy vet is just ecstatic that American forces whipped the pirates and freed our man.
The only thing that would beat this is the freeing the 200 plus hostages they hold ashore in Somalia. If the zerobama doesn't do that - he is an incompetent ass. But - that's already more than proven. (If he would just get out of the way, and let our military loose - there.)

Yes. Had that clarified for me. Now on to the fact that he did not want to go back with his pirate buddies on the lifeboat. >P-) He was probably chosen as the "negotiator" so he could get his wound treated at Sick Bay aboard Bainbridge.
The pirate needs to send Reza a "Thank You" card for saving his life. ;-)

What a brave and determined American. And this is the second time he jumped. This time he got the response he should have gotten.

“He jumped only after being instructed to do so by obama.”
That’s the way I hear the news going gaga over the wise and studied handling that saved the Captains life.

..it was a very gutsy call to fire.. True. Thank goodness this was not a US cop SWAT team. They would have taken an hour or so to assess the situation before taking the shot.

Sounds like a Plan to me. Carpet Bombing is always a crowd pleaser.

We fear more that any revenge taken by the pirates against foreign nationals could bring more attacks from the foreign navies, perhaps on our villages If these savages really believed this ... especially if it were to happen ... the piracy would stop

I do not care who gets the credit as long as the job got done and it did. It was obvious that the Seals were the proper group to execute the mission and execute the pirates, too. Happy Easter for the USA!

Gee, I hope the SEALs read the pirates their Miranda rights. Could the SEALs be charged with use of excessive force or police brutality for shooting these poor pirates?
I am certain the captured pirate already has a government paid defense lawyer. Perhaps Obama should give him a full pardon, an I-pod with Obama speeches, a set of DVDs and an apology that past US policies had caused him to turn to piracy. (sarcasm)
To: DGHoodini
the Special Forces snipers on the fantail of the Bainbridge opened fire, and killed the 3 pirates on board the lifeboat.Reach out and touch someone!
Nice shooting sir...and thank you.
