Navy Vice Admiral Bill Gortney says Richard Phillips suffered no apparent injuries during his ordeal inside a cramped lifeboat where Somali pirates held him. Gortney says Phillips was “tied up inside the lifeboat” over much of the past six days.

Thanks for the info. I wonder why were they sticking their noggins out? Guess they’d probably done it before, and didn’t expect to be taken out this time. Wonder if Obama knew this was part of the “imminent danger” clause that he approved. I somehow doubt it.
