How many of those 54% go to Mass every Sunday?
The numbers would be different if you took a poll of Church-going Catholics. Granted, there are some bad Churches (and priests) and older people who are just habituated to voting D. Still, I think the numbers would be different.

“54% of American Catholics voted for Obama. Someone is not reading or listening to theological facts in those churches.”

“How many of those 54% go to Mass every Sunday?”

Not many. About 50% of catholics actually are regular church attendees, the other half are cradle catholics. There is a sharp split, and regular mass-attending catholics are far more Republican, but not monolithically so.

The media and Obama’s campaign and EVEN THE CATHOLIC “FAITH CITIZENSHIP” GUIDE did many things to confuse Catholics maximally in order to help Obama.

It’s frightening and disgusting that we have that statistic followed up by Obama’s appointment of a gay-rights radical - to his “faith outreach” committee no less!! - who bashed the Pope, the KofC, and other catholic organizations. This is the moral equivalent of putting a KKK leader on a civil rights panel.
