Pelosi and Obama don’t care what the country thinks about amnesty. They care about what’s good for them and the Democratic Party.

My point was that there are already somewhere between 20 and 40 million illegal invaders in the country. They have used that bogus 12 million figure for years! Ted Kennedy used the 20 million number in January '07 while appearing on a Sunday morning talk show, which quickly vanished from all references. With their chain migration the number climbs into the 100 million range, IIRC.
My guess is everyone sees a huge issue with this. Thus the rush to give amnesty before the jobless rate hits double digits which would create yet another backlash against the agenda.
They will ignore us this time and do this anyway - my prediction.

I wonder if Obama, if granted amnesty and a path to citizenship, will take advantage of the opportunity.
