Interesting phrase ... as if being President were supposed to be a four-year vacation, and "events" are an imposition on the "Look, I won!" cocktail parties, trips, and unlimited b.j.'s to which he's entitled.
One certainly gets the impression that some of our "chief executives" have shared this perspective.
