And HOW did the pirates summon help? Hostage 101 is to cut off all communications except to YOU. Surely we could have jammed any other communications they attempted. We provided them with batteries for their radios. That was the time to give them a radio that was only suitable to talk to the ship, then cut off the rest of their comm.
