I seem to remember a science fiction book I read years ago where the government used a virus as an excuse to take control of the internet. I think it took place in 2032 or in the not to distant future.
I guess I kept my system too secure, because I haven’t seen hide nor hair of it. Intrusion attempts are very high I’ve noticed however.
I noticed the same thing about the intrusions. Yesterday for about 2-3 hours when I tried to use Google it gave me the virus in the network no can do page. That has never happened to me before but I have only been on the internet since 2006.
Do they have an accurate scan for it, yet?
Experts say if you can get to Windows Update page you are not infected.
see post 7. there are several scams out there but this is the easiest test.
Thx!
