ANDREA TANTAROS: Tea Parties Will Bring America’s Outrage to a Full Boil
By Andrea Tantaros

As tax day approaches there is a crescendo growing across America in the form of organized protests, also known as tea parties, and the noise is on a path to becoming deafening. Thousands of rallies are planned across the country; one in every single congressional district and larger gatherings slated for cities like New York, Sacramento and Atlanta which hope to boast an upwards of 20,000 participants.

The message is simple: repeal the pork, cut taxes and cut spending. But there is much more at stake than the money. The impact these actions will have on our culture is key.

Those who discount the frustration and fury across America should so do at their own peril, particularly incumbents who voted for the Obama budget. This time anger is being transformed into action. Each person who participates in a Tax Day Tea Party is being asked to organize a group of friends, family and neighbors. These groups will be asked to develop a consensus around two candidates, a fiscally responsible Democrat and Republican that they can unite behind to support in 2010 to unseat their big spending representative.

Though many on the far left continue to ignore or downplay the rage claiming that these gatherings are only for conservatives, all evidence is to the contrary.

**SNIP**

The culmination of a resistance movement is more than brewing; the tea parties will bring the outrage to a full boil. Though the tea might steep on Wednesday, the battle to protect our nation from socialism’s effect on our culture and our American exceptionalism has just begun. Grab your Earl Grey, it must be stopped.

That’s right Eva. MY POINT in the posted commentary was to NOT let the Republicans turn it into their own Political Party rally, because it is for the people.

Republicans are perople, and they will comprise the vast majority of folks attending the Tea Parties.

If you want anything to come of these things, you need Republican politicians to get on board with them and advocate for conservative policy in the state legislatures and the U.S. House and Senate. Nothing gets done in these bodies without the leadership of elected officials. The Dems will despise you. You should be praying that some Republican officials will take notice and own the cause.

What Republican Party are you referring to? The one that foisted a RINO upon us?

The Democrats gave us McCain due to open primaries.

MY POINT IS THE PEOPLE.

Getting the attention onto the masses of people with signs, and heartfelt commentary on the topic of the “Tea Party” is more important than the focus upon the leadership.

Make the People the focus not the leadership.

What is America? America is the people isn’t it. This Nation is about the people. The politicians are representatives of the people, and therefore the protest by the people means the representatives must listen.

Let the “Representatives” have their time after the people have spoken.

Have I succeeded getting my point across yet?

I’m willing to keep trying.

I'm a Republican. I'm not a socialist. I'm a capitalist. Spare me the rhetoric and the goofy hybrid names.

You seem to owe your allegiance to your party,I owe mine to my Constitution.

You seem to cling to some moronic misconceptions and you seem to spew some extremely tired clichés.

If you want a shot at a Constitution interpreted by constructionist justices, vote Republican. If you don't care, sit out the vote or vote Third-party. You'll get liberal justices appointed by Democrats.

Get a clue, buddy.

Democrats gave us McCain as the nominee due to open primaries.

McCain was my least favorite GOP candidate.

Get lost.

They are wrong in assuming that the tea parties stand for simple ideas like “repeal the pork, cut taxes and cut spending”. Those are more of the same empty foolishness the Democrats have been doing, just the Republican version.

Instead the Tea Parties stand for the grand, philosophical idea:

“Restore the US Constitution.”

The American public actually read at least the important parts of the US Constitution, and generally understand what its big ideas represent. And they KNOW that the government has been IGNORING the US Constitution, and doing what it wants to, usually with some pragmatic and flimsy rationale, for more than 60 years.

The public know that at least HALF of the federal government of the United States has NO, ZERO Constitutional authority to even exist. So why does it exist? And more importantly, why it is acting as a millstone around our collective necks?

There is NO, ZERO Constitutional authority for Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, deployment of our military in every nasty ****-hole in the world, treaties with foreign tyrants and internationalist bankers, for the federal government to CONFISCATE most of the lands of the western States, and open borders wide to alien nationals to enter our country and drain our sustenance.

There is NO, ZERO Constitutional authority for the government to spend ONE DIME beyond its budget, much less for spending trillions of dollars bloating the wallets of billionaires and bureaucracies, and promising tens of trillions of dollars to every greedy fool in the world, and to save dictators with OUR blood and treasure.

This nonsense must end.

The individual States are just starting to stand up for us. And make no mistake, THEY are the ones who sponsor the Tea Parties. And THEY are demanding that the federal government BACK OFF.

And the people haven’t even made that connection yet. That the individual States are just as aggrieved and frustrated with the federal government of the United States as are the people. That when the people throw a Tea Party, they are standing up as representatives, in solidarity with their individual States as well.

And neither the Democrat or Republican party, neither of whom even EXIST in the US Constitution, seem to be aware that their two party control of our government is collapsing. That the PEOPLE, not the PARTIES, want OUR government back.

Because make no mistake, it is OUR government, not THEIRS.
