Hey..Hi...I am originally from Pennsylvania also. Born in Pgh. Lived for 28 years in York. Now in VA. But I guess we conservative PA women are shallow and look for things like rings, LOL. Actually, I never noticed any other First Lady's rings. It is the absence of any wedding band that is the obvious to me.

I have felt all along that Michelle and Bambi don't really have a true marriage and maybe that explains why she does not wear a ring, although Barack does. I think their marriage is sorta like the one Bill and Hillary had. One of convenience. I think there is some arrangement to stay together for his political reasons and what that brings to Michelle and the girls. Namely fame and money.

I was born and raised in the Burgh also...live in a burb east of dahntahn now...but would love to move away. Hubby has other ideas...so here we are.

I agree about the marriage of convenience part; I always remember that the Bamster was ‘assigned’ to Shelli at the law firm (Siddell, et al.)

Laura Bush (but I have already admitted I am shallow) had a gorgeous set. Huge solitaire (not that I notice....)
