False eyelashes are the least of it. What of the trowel of makeup used to sculpt her face? The hair extensions?

And can someone name the last First Lady whose eye lightener was so intense that it was captured in photographs from 200 yards while walking down the stairs on Air Force One at the start of a great European adventure?

Sorry to be so petty, but I really am sick of the MSM pushing this woman on me as an ICON of fashion and beauty.

Michelle is attractive enough. And good for her. But, icon....well, a few picutures sans the genius of makeup artists would help seal the deal.

That is absolutely why I enjoy these threads, and why I didn't join in to bash Hillary's appearance. Hillary is just an average-looking woman for her age and mileage. I have enough to dislike about her without the physical insults.

But we didn't have all these "fashionistas" trying, at the top of their lungs, to convince us that Hillary was gorgeous and chic and the new Jackie. Every magazine is attempting to do it, plaster her toned arms on every cover, and call that stuff she wears "elegant"---I resent the propagandizing.
