This is what happens when you dont have substantive/objective scientific debate. Thats for good reason too b/c the loonie left ‘owns’ science ed in this country and hence the debate (or lack thereof).

The president's new science adviser said Wednesday that global warming is so dire, the Obama administration is discussing radical technologies to cool Earth's air.

Well, this should be fun!! I suggest that we build and launch into a space a 250-mile diameter, solar-powered fan so that we can cool the earth.

/sarc

Sounds to me like the Obamoron has got hissef a "science advisor" who spent too much time looking dreamily in the AlGoron's eyes while he filled the theaters and air waves with doom 'n gloom!!

“and how very, very small a paylod of a rocket would be.”

Silly you! They’re not gonna use a rocket! They’re going to roll up a trillion dollar bills and make a tube. Then, instead of snorting, they’re gonna blow blow through the tube up into the sky!

It seems strange that when you want to build anything you need all kinds of environmental impact statements and permits to assure no salamanders, gnats, rats, owls etc. are harmed and that not the slightest damage is done to the fragile ecosystem. This process takes years and is subject to unending law suits by environmentalists.

Now Obama wants to alter the global climate to fulfill Al Gore's wet dream and not one environmentalist is questioning the environmental consequences of such a radical plan. If we altered the earth's climate by some cooling scheme wouldn't the tropic ecosystems be threatened? Isn't there a risk that if we goof up in this endeavor that it could trigger another ice age?

I suggest taking a dead cat to the graveyard at midnight and swinging him over your head...just as scientific and a lot cheaper...the cat population would also be thinned...

Preferably a black cat with a white stripe.

Just remove the scrubbers from the thousands of little volcanoes located all across the country more commonly known as coal powered power plants and industrial plants. Back to the 50s & 60’s problem solved. You realize all this GW foolishness started about 10 years after we mandated that the scrubbers be installed. Unintended consequences?

...America must be insane for electing this guy...

Yup..

On Hannity, last week, he was interviewing a 'man on the street', the guy voted for the Zero, but could not name the VP...

The people who voted him in are beyond stupid...

If you take a warm area and force it to go cold, you will kick up storm winds.

Then again neither Gore nor Hussein have backgrounds in science.

I have had all I can take from these idiots. We need a “Fairness Doctrine” for Global Warming. I am tired of only hearing one side. These people need someone in their face like the idiot greens get in everyone else’s. I hope GE goes bankrupt, there I feel better.

This from the cretins who derisively referred to SDI as "Star Wars".

Why don't they just short-circuit the whole process and send a rocket up to blow up the sun? THAT'LL cool the place down.
