I liked the description of the BO visit: Like the King visiting the peasants!

When even a black liberal broadcaster mentions a “tepid response”, you know it was obvious.....I’m stunned he didn’t say they were silent with awe at being in his presence..

That was hilarious — the vast contrast between the two greetings — loud enthusiasm for Bush; soft, barely detectable clapping for zero. The troops know. Even if the mush-headed sheeple in America are unable to figure it out, the troops know.

That’s a somewhat misleading video. It seems like two different settings/situations. Now we have a video that is a more accurate comparison to the GWB in Iraq video.

Here’s Obama yesterday being greeted by the troops. I think the GWB response is still much louder and sustained. Obama seems to have a smaller fan base. But it’s not the dead silence he received at Lejuene.

They also know who is spending unprecedented amounts of our money of worthless social causes while cutting their defense funding budget.

When standing at attention, can you applaud?

Bush enters, troops at at ease. Obama enters troops at attention. Get it?

however, the MSM is now spinning a decently pleasant response by the troops in IRAQ for THE ONE to the shoe throwing incident during W’s last trip. :::sigh::: Not the same thing at all.

you can expect to see that on this evening’s news.

BDSers and Hussein's bots can's take away the years and years that Obama spent denigrating our troops, our CIC, and their missions.

He and his party leaked intell, aided and abetting the enemy, gave comfort to the enemy, which most likely prolonged the war. And he just spent a week slandering his country and the troops in Europe....saying that Abu Gruaib was ordered and carried out by the military, and that our troops were torturers.

To pretend that the majority of troops respect and admire the anti-American, community organizer, more than President Bush is so much spin that it makes me dizzy.

This is excellent and I’ve seen it before.

Question: Is there video of yesterday’s Zero visit with the troops in Baghdad?

What was THAT welcome like?

Thanks.

It may be. But the MSM continues to elevate Zero and minimize his faults. On the comedy shows where many get their “news” W is still lampooned while Zero’s errors go unreported. Since most on the left are followers, they need to be able to see their Rockstar as fat Elvis and not as hunky Elvis. Those followers on the left who received the hopey/changey mantra were seduced and need to see their flawed leader in the naked light.

HERE is a YouTube video of yesterday's visit to Baghdad.

Notice the newest low tech teleprompter.

Yeah, it’s an old school teleprompter.

I also liked the soldiers on display behind him, all standing like a choir. I wonder if they realized they were jsut prop material to set off the flag. “See how patriotic I am?”

It reminded me of the Hitler rallies with Templehof in the background.

I wondered about this. How does the teleprompter go about coming up with a speech for a guy who was proud of being against the military mission he is now orchestrating a photo opp for?

I expect the wording of the speech was very careful. He can’t come out and say, “Your cause is a just one.” or did he? “I support you but not this mission.” seems a little akward, I suppose.

What do the troops think? “Hey, cool. Our CIE is here to motivate us about something he dissagrees with.”
