I’ve been watching this liberal catholic vs. orthodox catholic tension going on for some time now.
You’ve got the catholics who actually believe church teaching and consider abortion to be the primary social issue.
You’ve got your “social justice” catholics who focus on the poor, the death penalty... strangley unconcerned with abortion. ...These are Barak voters.
And then there are CINO’s, the Christmas/Easter crowd....

Great list! But let's not forget the radical feminist Catholics who want women to be priests and want homosexual behavior to be accepted and gay marriage to be performed....

you’re right about those radical feminists - of course, when they’re preaching the homily in the Rochester Diocese, it’s usually about “social justice”. You know - how important it is to boycott Walmart and Target.

So I kindof lumped them into the social justice crowd.
