As many have noted here on FR we need to take the Republican party back to it's conservative roots. The party needs fresh new leadership to do this IMHO. I believe we need, especially now, representation that will fight FOR America and our constitution and against the move toward socialism. This candidate for the AZ 8th district believes in America and her constitution and can be one of those leaders we so desperately need and I can say without hesitation that he embodies strong conservative principals. I know him well. He is my son-in-law.

The site was assembled quickly so that it would be available at the time of his announcement so it is not as detailed as it will be in the weeks to come but it will give you a good basic insight into him and his positions. There is also a nice picture of him with my lovely daughter and new grandson. (smile)

He will be in a tough fight against Dem. Incumbent Gabrielle Giffords and all the money the DNC will toss her way. So if any AZ Freepers feel the desire I am sure he would appreciate and welcome any volunteers, contributions, encouragement, prayers, and anything else you would offer.

Please excuse my shameless rant but I am so proud of Jesse and my daughter for making this commitment to do something pro-active to make our Country a better place for my grandson.

As you know, Mr. Kelly wouldn't stand a chance with the California Republican Party. They'd support a communist before they'd support a man like Kelly.

I'm woefully ignorant of the Republican Party structure in Arizona. A state with a Senator McCain and a Sheriff Arpaio leaves a lot to the imagination.

Congrats to you, CY. Gabby will give Jesse a run for his money. She is solidly backed by the Press here in CD8 and she is politically savvy enough to appear to be a Centrist when she can get away with it.

She is everyone’s buddy, ‘fighting’ for whatever particular cause appears to be important at the moment.

I don’t know the party operation in Arizona, but if I was him, I’d hit as many of the local clubs down there as possible.

The last guy to run against Giffords, Tim Bee is a flaming RINO. As majority Republican leader of the Senate he joined with the Democrats to pass their budget. Shades of Cogdill and Villines in CA, who are (were in the case of Cogdill) the so-called Republican leaders in the Senate and Assembly. That S*B Bee deserved to lose but the people of Arizona don’t deserve Giffords and her rubber stamping Zero’s communist agenda.
