Former Cuban President Fidel Castro has held a meeting with three members of the US House of Representatives. The event was his first known meeting with US officials since he underwent emergency intestinal surgery in 2006. Castro has not been seen in public since he was taken ill, and ceded power to his brother Raul last year.

Analysts say the meeting indicates an increased willingness on the part of Cubans and Americans to resolve tensions between the two countries. A seven-strong team of congressional Democrats is currently in Cuba, looking into ways to improve US-Cuban relations, but only three of them attended the meeting with Mr Castro. The delegation, which is being led by Congresswoman Barbara Lee, met Raul Castro on Monday...

President Barack Obama is expected to announce soon that he is easing restrictions imposed in 2004 by George W Bush on travel and remittances for Cuban-Americans. Last week, a bill was introduced to Congress which would allow unrestricted travel to Cuba for all Americans....

So the Congressional Black Caucus goes to see their hero Castro.

What if someone dared suggest a new group be formed called The Congressional Caucasian Caucus? Congressional White Caucus?

No no no, that would be racist!

And of course we would never want to form such a group precisely because it is racist.

The difference between the Dems and Repubs is, the Dems are racist. The Congressional Black Caucus is by nature, a racist group.

Why can’t they look at the content of a person’s character and not the color of skin?

Black Entertainment Television (BET) same thing, there’s no White Entertainment Television, same reason. We don’t want such a channel since it is racist and silly. They have it and it is racist and they get away with it.

Double standards, and the dem standard is no standards for them, impossible standards for the rest of us.
