No it doesn't. I am a little puzzled by your willingness to consider it a plausible idea.

I could see how you might be. I think ID makes some excellent arguments for design, but they go astray when they depart from the historical account God gave us in the Bible. I just came across an article the fleshes this out a bit more if you’re interested.
