You still didn’t answer my question. Why did the Soviets destroy the Russian Orthodox Church, and then go to all the trouble to create an imitation Russian Orthodox Church?
Because they thought they could USE the Orthodox Church members who would bow to Communism.

Now go on with the careful and elaborate construction of a conspiracy theory, whereby Islamic clerics are not Islamic, the “Party of God” is a secular organization, etc; when confronted with contrary evidence all you seem able to do is construct a conspiracy theory.
