Between the very cold winter in many places and everyone including Vanity Fair focused on the economic downturn, many in the news media took a vacation from global warming alarmism. But on April 6, NBC brought the hype back with yet another story about the threat of melting ice caps.
Anchor Brian Williams introduced an "Our Planet" segment by reminding viewers that the Obama administration was remaining active on the issue of climate change.
"The Obama administration is calling for greater protection of the earth's polar regions, including limits on tourism," Williams said. "Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made the proposals at a global summit in Washington. Coincidentally, it comes two days after a crucial ice bridge collapsed at the South Pole, effectively changing the map of that part of the world."

Since global warming has proven to be a hoax ad nauseum... then the FCC needs to start enforcing its rules against NBC and others for writing false reports about global warming.
Their false reports are a form of advertising called copywriting. An example: tale about digital picture frames which enriches a specific named brand.
Or a tale about polar bears which might end up enriching our government with new taxes.... or a specific company which is all set to sell the public some product.
Hopefully they were just kidding. If not, people that devoid of critical thinking skills should not be allowed in public much less allowed the right to vote...
Polar bears can cross breed with brown bears and grizzly bears.
So the polar bear isn’t disappearing because of global warming. It is just getting “friendly” with brown and grizzly bears.
ROTFL! ;-D
This is ridiculous. Everyone knows that even a starving polar bear will not eat a penguin. (P.S. Ubon 73-Next to Last C-130 leaving the base!)
FYI... some funny Photoshopped pics on this thread! :-D
I actually saw that. Cheesed me off right when I was leaving for a meeting. “The polar ice sheet is the 6th largest in history.” Its bad since its only first year ice and will melt out this summer. Excuse me! The ice is GETTING LARGER!!! It grows and is still bad.
The real cause of AGW.
good lord, here in central florida we have a high of about 65 with 25 mph winds and the normal this time of year should be low to mid 80’s.........got to love that global warming....
“including limits on tourism”
The left not only wants to cap and tax carbon fuel, it wants to keep me from seeing the so-called unspoiled wilderness. And not just in the arctic, they pass so-called conservation laws that limit access and trails in our national and state parks. Parks we get taxed for yet are off limits to we peasants. The elites aways seem to get helicoptered in to their private lodges to enjoy the views we pay for.
Also a story on how to bail out the Studebaker car company.
It’s as bad as they say; Penguins are extinct in the Arctic and Polar Bears are extinct in the Antarctic.
It's happening so often that it took months for the Canadian government to figure out what the guy shot. The ranges of the two overlap considerably on the shore of Hudson's Bay.
Despite the growing number of dissidents and the failure of the weather to conform to the theories of the warmists, I’ve seen no slacking in the amount of agw propaganda I see and hear through the media. In fact, it’s relentless. And their claims of imminent catastrophe go virtually unchallenged in Big Media. I’ve yet to read a dissenting view or a report on the meetings of the agw skeptics that have occurred in the last few years in my local lib rag. All we get is the warmist views.
Was that the one about the hybrid? If you saw that one, then you know that polar bears are descended from brown bears who roamed to the polar regions and eventually became (presto) polar bears. Which means if brown bears can adapt to arctic conditions, then polar bears can adapt to warming conditions. Apparently the warmists have been unable to reach that obvious conclusion.
