I love BLT’s. Eat em most every day for breakfast. But, Front Page news/Activism...hmmmm, not quite.

Bacon is NOT a "simple snack." Bacon is a way of life! Everything is made better with bacon. If it can't be made better with bacon, it's simply not worth eating. As Emril says, "pork fat rules!"

Doesn’t work on me then. I don’t like bacon.

I claim your share!

“When I was in elementary school this school yard lady took away my bacon sandwich said it was unhealthy. She made me eat the school food and charged me for it! B****.”

Whooda thunk that Hilarious was once a school worker.

Meat is murder...tasty tasty murder.

I saw a comedian once who said something along the lines of, "I love animals... Petting them is good. Eating them is better!"

There was a restaurant in KC that's now closed, but they had a sandwich they called "Heart Attack on a Plate." It was a BLT, where they started out with a 1 pound (uncooked) package of bacon for your sandwich. And it was cooked to order.

YUM!

Bacon Explosion Wellington All of the bacony goodness of the Explosion, but dressed up for fancy eatin'. Easy to make too. And it won't immediately freak out the non-baconists at the soiree.

Brit bacon is a lot leaner than US bacon. But what is the brown sauce?

On the whole, people who don’t eat bacon are less stable individuals. You can dispute this, but I can statistically back it up...

You need to eat it even if you don’t like it.

She added: "Fats mean that there are some reducing sugars in there as well. When it's really hot – that's when the Maillard reaction starts."

Right now I'm doing a Maillard reaction with thin beef strips cooked in coconut milk with chilis, mango, and dried cranberries. My refrigerator/freezer just conked out so I've been cooking a lot of meat.
