To be sure, the tactics used at Haditha were a disgrace to the Marine Corps.
The above line in the article by Bing West makes me question the sincerity of the man.
While everyone is showering accolades on this guy, I'd advise them to read and re-read that section and line about half a dozen times. You'll be distressed during the second reading, and wondering what the guy's game is by the end of the six.
I've read elsewhere, again and again, that the Haditha Marines performed those battle tasks that day exactly according to standard.
