A former aide to Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., has pleaded guilty in federal court in Virginia to receiving child pornography, court records show.
Jeff Rosato, 32, of Arlington, Va., faces a minimum of five years in prison when he is sentenced on May 1. Rosato must also register as a sex offender.
Rosato entered his guilty plea on Jan. 29 and was remanded into custody, court records show.
"Defendant received visual depictions of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct knowingly and intentionally and not by accident or mistake," said a statement filed in U.S. District Court in Virginia that was signed by Rosato.
He was arrested in November on a criminal complaint and fired by Boxer's office the same day.
Rosato started as a legislative assistant in Boxer's personal office in 2005. In 2007, he became a senior policy adviser and counsel to the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, which is chaired by Boxer.

Boxer was also very close to boy porn lover and SF liberal talk show host and hate monger Bernie Ward. Has Bernie been sentenced yet? Bernie Ward hated Michael Savage and harassed him all the time.
This was one of her Environmental “enforcers” who pushed the Climate Change false agenda.

C’mon, FReepers. Someone besides me must also remember how Boxer got elected to Senate in the first place!!?
Her campaign manager, Bob Mulholland, accused her opponent Bruch Hirschensohn of being a porn addict, claimed to spot him exiting an “adult” theater. Oh? What was Bob doing there? Merely stalking?
This was “revealed” the day before the election, when Boxer and Bruch were even in the polls.

Bernie Ward, the hateful KGO radio talker, was chief of staff for Babs when she was a Representative. He was also convicted of possessing child pornography and is now in a federal prison somewhere in Texas. One child pornography fan staff member is a coincidence, two is a trend. Babs is so sick and twisted that I don’t doubt she attracts people as sick as she is.
