I seldom post log data from signals I've picked up but I did keep some notes in this instance, I'll post them right here on FR, this will be picked up by Google inside of a day:
First some general information:
470 - 476 MHz
Covers the following:
# television channel 14
# Land mobile within 50 miles of the following metro areas:
* Boston, MA
* Chicago, IL
* Los Angeles, CA
* Miami, FL
* New York/N.E. NJ
* Pittsburgh, PA
In addition, 470 - 476 mhz includes:
# Biomedical telemetry devices
NOT generally utilized for aerospace telemetry and/or satellite transmissions, AFAIK.

470 mhz was monitored continuously:
Start - 2200 hrs Eastern Time 05 April 2009
End - 0700 hrs Eastern Time 06 April 2009
No detectable consistent signals monitored, mostly static with occasional SSB interruptions, presumed to be Ham radio operators or other transmitters.
No musical or voice communications noted.
Equipment used:
Hallicrafters SX-42 Receiver
MaxRad BMUF4525 Antenna
This is a picture of the receiver, this isn't the actual receiver that belonged to my Dad, but the one I'm using is pretty much identical in appearance. It's an oldie but a goodie.
I can state with virtual certainty that IF there were a North Korean satellite emitting a signal at 470 mhz, I would have picked it up.
There's nothing up there.
